Braintree
Braintree Day: Saturday, June 28, 2025
Stars & Stripes Parade at 11:45 AM, departing from the Braintree RMV (14 Plain St) along Hancock Street to the Hollis School
Main Celebration at Braintree High School (128 Town St) starting at 4:00 PM with live music, a petting zoo, inflatables, carnival games, and nearly 20 food vendors
Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Quincy
Quincy 400 Maritime Festival: July 4–6, 2025
Location: Marina Bay Boardwalk
Festival opens at 2:00 PM on July 4 with an Opening Ceremony at 3:00 PM, live music, balloon magic shows, schooner tours, sand sculpting, fire performers, and a beer garden
July 5–6 features a Children's Bike & Wagon Parade, a Decorated Dinghy Parade, and performances by Ayla Brown
Adams National Historical Park hosts "Independence Forever" reenactments of the Continental Congress debate (July 2–4)
Squantum 4th of July Parade steps off at 10:00 AM on July 4, following a 9:00 AM flag-raising at the Nickerson American Legion Post
Milton
Milton Music Fest & Fireworks: June 28–29, 2025
Location: Governor Hutchinson's Field, Adams Street
Saturday, June 28: Activities and food vendors open at 5:00 PM; live music at 6:30 PM
Fireworks at 9:45 PM (rain date: June 29)
Sunday, June 29: Celtic Sunday with music, food, and family activities starting at 1:00 PM
July 4 Day Events
Youth races at Kelly Field starting at 9:00 AM (ages 2–12), with face painting and a fire truck display
Blue Hill Observatory hosts a special "America's 250th" celebration with historic tours, lawn games, and evening views of regional fireworks
Weymouth
3rd of July Celebration: Thursday, July 3, 2025
Location: George Lane Beach, River Street, North Weymouth
Festivities begin at 5:00 PM with live music (The New Band), food trucks, novelty vendors, and inflatable bouncers
Fireworks over the Fore River at 9:30 PM
Free shuttle service from the McCulloch Building/Whipple Center (182 Green Street) starting at 5:00 PM
Holbrook
Holbrook Celebrates America's 250th: Wednesday, July 2, 2025
Location: Holbrook Public Library, 2 Plymouth Street (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
Mama Steph Children's Concert at 4:30 PM, followed by a Brass Band Concert at 6:00 PM
Food trucks, face painting, crafts, and photo opportunities throughout the evening
For fireworks, residents are encouraged to visit neighboring towns such as Weymouth, Braintree, or Randolph (Randolph High School Baseball Field)
