Where are these Data Centers currently located, and which states have proposed Data Centers?

According to an article from REALTOR.com, Americans aren’t moving toward data centers. The data centers are coming to them.

• The share of American home sales near large (50-megawatt) data centers has more than doubled since 2018 to roughly 1.5% of all home sales. The number of large data centers grew more than sevenfold over the same period, to nearly 350 large facilities.

• By the end of 2027, more than 2% of all home sales will take place within five miles of an active large data center. This increase is driven entirely by new data centers opening in new places, not by rising sales activity around existing data centers.
